Who you are dealing with
My Hangar is run by Aurum Imperium, S.L.U., tax ID B19947407, Carrer Consell de Cent 415, Principal 2n, 08009 Barcelona, Spain. Contact: [email protected].
The service
My Hangar is a knowledge game about cars: a daily round of each game for each marque, plus practice rounds, leaderboards, a newsletter, timelines and articles. The daily of every game is free and needs no account. It is an independent fan game, not linked to any manufacturer. There are no cash prizes.
We work to keep questions accurate, and each shows its sources, but the game is entertainment and not professional advice. If you spot a mistake, tell us.
Accounts and age
You must be 16 or older to make an account or buy a plan, and you confirm this when signing up. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account unless it was not your fault. You can delete your account at any time in the app.
Fair play and acceptable use
- Do not use bots or scripts to play, collect questions or answers, or attack or overload the service.
- Do not republish the questions.
- Choose a pseudonym that is not offensive and does not pretend to be someone else.
A round with answers faster than anyone can read stays off the boards until a person clears it. We may suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules, and we will tell you why.
Content
The questions, text, code and design belong to the company or its licensors, and you may use them to play and for your own personal enjoyment. Photos belong to their authors and are used under the licences on the credits page. Marques and model names belong to their owners.
Plans and prices
Paid plans are not on sale until the app says so, and some of their features are still being built. Each plan opens once what it offers is ready. Club is not yet available.
Prices include VAT. Every paid plan is charged once a year, in advance, even though we also show what that comes to per month: Driver €1 a month, charged €12 a year; Collector €10 a month, charged €120 a year; Club €100 a month, charged €1,200 a year. What each plan includes is on the pricing page. We show you the amount to pay before you pay it.
You buy in the app, and payment is handled by Stripe. By email you receive the contract with these terms and, from Stripe, your invoice.
Your 14-day right of withdrawal
As an EU consumer you normally have 14 calendar days from the purchase to withdraw from a distance contract, without giving a reason. To do so, tell us clearly before the 14 days end, by email to [email protected]. Any money due back is returned within 14 days, by the same payment method.
Your subscription starts immediately, because at checkout you ask for it to start and acknowledge that, once it does, you lose this right. If you do not give both, we cannot start your plan at checkout. If the law nonetheless gives you the right in your case, you can still use it, and you would then pay only for the part of the service already provided.
Renewal and cancellation
- A paid plan renews automatically every year at the price then in force, until you cancel. We email you a reminder 30 days before each renewal, with the date and the amount.
- You can cancel at any time from “Manage billing” in the app. Your plan stays until the paid year ends and does not renew. Apart from the right of withdrawal and your statutory rights, there is no refund for the rest of the paid year.
- Moving up starts at once: you pay only the difference for the time left in your year, and the renewal date stays the same. Moving down starts at the next renewal, with no charge and no refund.
- If a renewal payment fails, you keep the plan for 14 days from the first failure while you update your card. After that the account moves to Free until paid. No data is deleted.
- If you delete your account, any subscription is cancelled at once, with no refund for the rest of the year apart from your statutory rights.
Guarantees and liability
You have the statutory rights of a consumer if a digital service does not conform to the contract, and nothing here limits them. We work to keep the service available, but it may stop for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We are liable as the law provides, including for intent and gross negligence, and we are not liable for damage we could not reasonably foresee.
Changes to the service and to these terms
We may change games and features, and we will not take away something essential you have paid for without giving you a fair remedy. If we change these terms or a price in a way that affects your plan, we will email you in advance and in any case before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it applies.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory protection of the country where you live, and you may go to the courts of your home. Please write to [email protected] first: we try to answer every complaint. You can also go to the consumer authorities of your region.
